Here’s an old Ash or Coal Shovel that dates to the 1920’s or so and made by Arctic. Measures 16″ long. Sheet metal shovel head has been refinished with high-temp black paint. Ornate cast iron handle shaft that was nickel-plated. Coil spring handle to insulate from the heat. Great visual appeal and very usable around your hearth.
